Craig McLachlan
Outside of acting, Craig McLachlan is a musician who has his own CD - My Little Acoustic Record - and has also been actively involved with a Sydney band, Welter! You can find more about the band here!
Welter is an Indie band in Sydney and is the brainchild of singer-songwriter, Elliott Weston and drummer Dave Williams. Their connection and passion has been the driving force behind this unique Australian songwriting duo. They both come from different musical directions, Elliott busking around the world with acoustic folk and Dave’s edgy hard driving blues/rock. Blending their styles was always going to be a welter, an “uncontrollable mass”. When they came together, initially as temporary housemates in Bondi Beach, their musical relationship and friendship has produced some of the best critically acclaimed music to date. This includes their Cleaver EP, their debut Satellite Generation LP, the seminal Million Star Motel LP and Elliott’s solo album, Lo-Fi Hollywood. - Source: WELTER Website

Craig McLachlan in The Wrong Girl
Will Craig be back as Eric in 2018? We sure hope so!
Craig has played Eric Albrectson for the past two years and describes his character like this:
"He's not the sharpest chisel in the carpenter's kit," explains Craig McLachlan about his character, breakfast TV show host Eric Albrectson, on The Wrong Girl. "He has a healthy ego and when he needs to crank that confidence, by God he can. But there's nothing nasty in the guy and that was really important: I didn't want Eric to be a prick."
